Hello lovelies. Shaking things up on this fabulous Friday to bring you my {Leigh here} version of Friday I’m in love…a glimpse into anything I’m currently obsessed with. It’s the red-headed step child to Katie’s Friday I’m in Love. Mine will include faves that are usually NOT Vegan. In fact, I’m considering taste-testing a different flavor of Doritos weekly {actually I know Katie would totally be down for that too #soulsister.} I’ll probably never mention the word “turmeric,” and, god-willing, will hopefully always feature some type of favorite cocktail. So here she goes…

Diff Eyewear:

I get so many compliments on my Diff sunglasses that I figured it was time to share the wealth. I found Diff Eyewear about a year ago when I was searching for the perfect pair of colored-lensed sunglasses.

There are a few things I love about Diff but the first is that it’s shopping for a cause {read: guilt-free.} Here’s the skinny: when you buy a pair, Diff donates a pair of eyeglasses through their partnership with the charity Eyes on Africa. Eyes on Africa “provides eyeglasses at no cost to Africans through distribution in communities with no access to vision care.” Did you know there are more than one billion people in the world that need eyeglasses and don’t have any way to get them? Yay for Diff.

All of the styles are super on-trend and there are tons of options for choosing the frame and lens colors. I own the Dime, Dime II and the Bella. See, told you I was obsessed. Also the price-point is totally budget friendly…#winning

Diff just released a new style – the “astro” that IMO is totally Cochella-y…if I was still a “Chella” girl. Unfortunately for me, these days I get Festival-ready and then sit in the pick-up line at my kids’ elementary school rocking a flower crown. Same thing, right?

You can get $10 off your first order with promo code “DIFF10.”

Coco Floss:

I’m about done with my projected year-long treatment of Invisalign to straighten the teeth that went crooked after years of not wearing the retainer I got when I was 15. Hey kids read this next line carefully: wear your retainers. Especially if your parents have paid for your ortho-treatment.  In light of this, I’ve developed a new found interest in oral-hygiene. #adulting

A girlfriend introduced me to cocofloss and the rest was history. After years of lying to my dental hygienist; “yes, I’ve been flossing,” I’m finally {literally} able to come clean. This floss is life changing. And it helps that it comes in super cute packaging too.

It’s a thicker floss compared to the store-bought, minty version you’re probably used to. But that’s what helps to get all the gunk out from between your teeth. Cocofloss acts as a loofah to actually scrub between your teeth. It’s also infused with coconut oil {lightbulb: COCOFLOSS}, wax and fruit oils.

And, in case you’re wondering…yes, I woke up like this. I couldn’t find a stronger filter if I plastered it to my actual face.

The flavor is subtle. My daughter and I use the strawberry and my husband sticks with the mint. But there’s also an orange and coconut version.

And the coolest part: they offer “floss plans.” Think: set it and forget it. You sign up for a subscription that comes out to a whopping $3.50/month and they’ll send you 64 yards of floss every 4 months. That’s right sports fans, in 8 months you’d potentially use enough floss to line a football field. You can cancel at any time but don’t. Your teeth are like the window to your overall health and wellness. Seriously, we’re talking more than just pretty selfies here girls.

Austin Cocktails:

And now for my final party trick- I present to you the cucumber vodka mojito from Austin Cocktails. This pre-bottled, perfectly mixed, not-too-sweet “party in a glass” will have all your girlfriends gossiping about your new found mixologist skills.

Poured over ice, it literally cannot be any easier to sip a “fancy” beverage at the end of your day of “mom-ing.” I don’t typically drink vodka. I can never find the right mixers and I don’t love the taste of it on its own. Whoever started the rumor that vodka is “tasteless” is a liar. The cucumber vodka mojito is light, easy to drink and low calorie too! {Bottoms up}

The gals at Austin Cocktails believe in using natural ingredients. The vodka is 5x distilled {I don’t actually know what that means but I’m sure it’s a good thing} and the cocktails are sweetened with organic agave nectar. The all-natural mint is one that won’t leave that strong aftertaste you sometimes find with other mint-y cocktails {hello shot of mouthwash. Blech}

There are a few other flavors that I have yet to try. Fear not, tequila fanatics, there’s one for you too.

Head on over to your local BevMo {insert angels singing} to pick up a bottle.

That’s all for today. I hope your weekend is full of sun, smiles and cocktails.

  1. Love it! I’m a bit of a flossing addict, so I might have to try something a little more chic than my typical Kroger brand. Chic flossing, who knew?

    Happy weekend, gals.
